Topic- My weeklong hiking and canoeing trip to Pictured Rocks in Michigan

During the summer of 2019, Me and my scouting troop went on a weeklong hiking and canoeing trip basically going from campsite to various other campsites by hiking and or canoeing to the seven other campsites we had planned in advance. The drive to Michigan was around ten hours and by the time, we arrived it was late in the evening, and we decided to set up camp for the night. The next day, I and my troop canoed up picture rocks river for the entire day, we ate lunch having not left our canoes until we had to stop for lunch, In the early evening, we stopped to set up our campsites and settle down for the night. During the night, we went swimming in a beautiful section of the lake that had clear water. Each day, we started canoeing at or around ten in the morning. The third day was fun and stressful, it was fun because my troop got to canoe so much which for me was actually relaxing but stressful because I and the leadership team at the time had to deal with younger scouts who were tired by midday of canoeing but they persevered and at the end of the day, we got to our campsite which situated along a beautiful river that was directly in front of where our campsite was located. The fourth day was eventful because we had a long day of canoeing and hiking ahead, we packed up and left our campsite for the journey of canoeing ahead, during the canoeing portion of the day, we passed by the grand sit of pictured rocks which truly is a magnificent sight to see in person and especially on the water while canoeing, during my group's lunch, the adult leadership were fine with allowing us to go explore for a little bit around the beach, during these past days, we have cooked high protein meals that were meant to get us through the day and evening and on occasion we would bake cinnamon rolls. We had a total of around eight canoes and the total number of scouts that went was close to twenty. The majority of our trip was island hopping from one campsite to the other for the entire week. During our trip to pictured rocks, we did not see another scout troop but we did cross paths with 2 other campers on one day when we had stopped canoeing for the day
